Joanna Sperryn-Jones shares Breaking as Making: In this presentation I would explore breaking and making as two different registers of discourse that remain in continual tension and seek to shed further light their nature.
Joanna Sperryn-Jones: Through the processes of making and breaking in sculpture and writing I explore experiences and perceptions of breaking and its affect on identity and subjectivity. As form has come to reflect content „breaking‟ has also become the methodology and I explore philosophical notions of this.
